The plan allows individuals to save up to $17,000 a year in an ABLE account (or more if they earn wages), without jeopardizing their state or federal benefits, such as Medicaid or Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Planning is well underway for the inaugural ABLE summit which has a tentative date set for October 2nd. Location TBD, more info to come.
