The Fire, Weather and Avalanche Center is a 501(c)(3)-pending non-profit organization providing wildfire maps, weather forecasts, and avalanche information in Oregon and other states. The Fire, Weather and Avalanche Center provides critical, decision-making information to back-country users and the public—whether it be wildfire, weather, or avalanche and snow related. They are currently piloting a suite of products for the mountains of Northeast Oregon, as well as a Northwest US wildfire map.
