Burns Llama Trailblazers breeding program is dedicated to producing intelligent, friendly, hardworking llamas with the conformation and spunk of an athlete. As part of their effort to produce excellent well-rounded workers, they train them to pack, pull carts, guard livestock and enjoy human companionship. Burns Llama Trailblazers are also teachers of humans and delight in putting their llama charges and human students together. They offer custom llama training for both you and the llamas, be it through wilderness trekking, day hiking or farm visits.

For Students

Burns Llama Trailblazers provide the following for pre k – 6th grade, middle school, high school, and college students:

  • Field Trip or Tour
  • Guest Speaker
  • Job Shadows
  • Career or Club mentoring

Burns Llama Trailblazers offers to provide students with an opportunity to see a working llama ranch with breeding, training, and packing activities. Prior to the visit, a release of liability form needs to be filled out. During the visit closed toed shoes must be worn.
